oh man holy crap this sucks, i got galciv along time ago, i mean like no too long after it came out, but anyway for what ever reason it seems the game wont play any more. it like files are missing from the cd, but when i try to look into it, there is nothing missing. also if i try to instal it, things will act all weird and stop doing anything, the whole comp will stop and i gotta do a hard boot just to do anything. im not sure what to do, i mean im too poor to try to buy the game again so am i screwed or do ya think you could help me out, oh yeah im new to this whole online thing so be nice to the noob please, anyway i look forward to help from yall, later.

Just some thoughts...
Did you alter the game in any way?
Have you run a virus scan with recent software to see if it's not the game itself, but something else that might be wrong with the CPU?
Can you back up your CPU using an old system restore? (depending upon which version of Windows you have)
So many possible things that could be going on, and those are just a few ideas.
