She does too read my posts! She even told me she was going to look into something I brought up! Can YOU say the same? I bet she has never payed that kind of personal attention to you, you feckless rube. You might as well give it up now, man. Me and CariElf are meant to be.

Yes, I am much too nice to do a hostile take over of Gal Civ. Also, I am much happier leaving administration and other such details in more capable hands than mine so that I am free to do what I love, work on Gal Civ.
Also, in RPGs I tend to play Druids, Clerics, or Healer type characters unless the game is poorly balanced and I end up having to switch to a paladin or something a bit tougher. And th

Also, in RPGs I tend to play Druids, Clerics, or Healer type characters unless the game is poorly balanced and I end up having to switch to a paladin or something a bit tougher. And they're always of good alignment, or at worst, neutral alignment. I don't like being evil.

You're not fooling us. You only do that because if you played a chaotic evil character then the ranger, fighter, and mage would start making all kinds of demands that you hand over 168 gold and turn undead technology and then kick your butt when you didn't comply.

I must admit, I did play it about 20 hours straight when I got it, but I haven't touched it since. It was perhaps the best RPG period I've ever played, but I'm scared what might happen to me if I go up a difficulty level.
(Edited to say: "It" being SysShock 2 . . . I didn't realize there was a third page until after I posted. And to say I know that CariElf would never be a Shodan. Maybe a nice version . . . she can code very well . . .)

#57 CariElf: I never had much patience with Clerics and Mages etc. Too much remembering which spell did what, and especially the games where you could use only a limited number of spells in each battle. And I agree: Evil sucks in RPGs (but not in Galciv where it is pretty cool- hate those bunnies). Just keep working on Galciv for as long as they let you CariElf!
MM77: Wow, I sorta like being a Terror Star. Its a change of pace from being thought of as a cuddlechops or a diddly puff like in the real world. Not to mention 4 places on the ladder of fame!!!
Nidaros #59: I don't want to see pictures of my heroes! My imagination fills in the blanks.

I play another game called Everquest, and I generally play that class as I find it alot more strategic compared to other classes. On top of handling buffs to other characters, I gotta keep the warriors hit points up, I got to keep enchanters alive at all costs since they handle crowd control, and I'm usually the first to die since I'm too busy keeping the rest of the party alive. In that sense I get to play hero.
On the single player games, I tend to play classes of all kinds, but tend to favor monks or mages, and with alignment typically neutral good (I'm good at heart, but dont deal with laws unless they suit me)

I'm CariElf's mom and I've been her #1 fan for years. She taught me almost everything I know about computers. She even had to tell me how to join in to this discussion.
She is truly worthy of your accolades and adoration. Smart, kind, funny, diligent, sincere, supportive... I hope she remembers this tribute when she's choosing my nursing home.

Well, that does, it. I thought I've seen it all. Now this is becoming a family affair. First time I've seen this in any game I've been involved with.
PS- Dont ever try jogging in Sacramento when its 100+ degrees with an Air Quality near 150. I'm finding out the hardway that its not good for your lungs :-/ (this was your public service announcment from the force of infinity....now back to your regular programming)
