Aloha...i say sorry because i'm not able to find the answer
to this question in "search",and know i should, but anyway,
here's the question...if another race builds a Trade Good
and i later take that planet,do i then get the Trade Good?
or is it lost for the rest of the game?,and if so,what about the deals that were already made with that race,
do they continue? Mahalo for any answers ahead of time

You can't capture Trade Goods. Actually, you can't own Trade Goods, either! It's more of a "patent" than anything else. If you read the popup screen when you build one, it says you have the "exclusive rights" to the item (or something like that). Anyway, if you don't get to build a TG, you can trade for it and still get the benefit.
Oh, and if you build one and trade it, you still get the benefit of it...you're just letting the AI that you traded it to use it too. The benefits never expire, also.
Hope that helped!

You keep the benefit of the Trade Good. Any empire that didn't trade the minor for the TG doesn't get it!

Yes, always trade for the TG before destroying a civilization.

What about galactic wonders? I captured a planet with one from a minor once and the benefit never showed up on my stats is there a way 'round this? |
|
nope, if you don't build it it's impossible to get the benefit.

You can't trade for wonders. Only for techs and trade goods.

dooooh....i'm terribly sorry. My brains needs more RAM, but to be able to handle "stuff" i have to make very categories and wonders/trade goods just happend to fall into the same category. Not that bright
