I read a comment here somewhere that says don't "let your governor do everything."
But I have found it very convenient just to have my governor build the same sequence on every colonized world, myself just checking in every now and then to assign a special task (galactic wonder, trade good, etc...) to a high production planet.
What are the risks in allowing the governor just to put everything I think worth building on every planet I can build on?
I don't think there is any. Of course you miss some of the advantages of micro management (when building morale boosters on a planet where everybody is already perfectly happy), but elseways i can't see why.
