There are some caps in the game and I would really like to have an overview. This is what I found or read up to now. Please help to complete the list and correct any wrong numbers.
1. population cap
Hard cap of 100 Bil per planet.
2. population growth cap
Hard cap of 200 Mil per planet and turn?
3. income cap
Starts at 2 time PQ per planet gets severe at 4 times PQ
4. production cap
Starts with 10 time PQ for non-free production
Question: does it count separately for social and military?
5. treasury cap at 25,000 BC ?
You get slight penalties above that value. (Did anybody see the "crime fighting ability" mentioned in the economics document from Brad?)

i'v gotten like 25,705 or something like that even think i made it to 26,000 in my game (if you click on my name) with almost 10,000 in score but it was on the easyest setting i dunno if thats good or anything though heh.
but my economy in that game was good had alot of random events that went my way ableing me to win the game at the end by alliance victory. (odd random event let every empires ship move like really fast by the end of the game some of my ships had 18/18 in moves is that normal?)

This isn't actually implimented yet, and the ability does exist, it just isn't currently used. Abilities called Government and Cabinet also exist, but do nothing. The basic idea was that one reduces the chance that you'll lose in senate votes, and the other in elections, IIRC.
As was noted, it's suposed to be a very small penalty, and I can't imagine why anyone would have that much money on-hand unless they already have the game under their thumb and are just waiting for the actual victory conditions to complete. With that kind of treasury, you could buy expensive wonders wholly in cash. The largest outlay is something around 10000bc for one of the late-game wonders (sans mods... one of the tech mods includes a wonder with a much higher cost, but you have to go really out of your way for it. You'll get to Final Frontier first if you don't intentionally avoid it).

I think that is he become pretty common for alot of players to cash in profits of 500-1000 bc's each month and thereby going well above 25,000 in treassury.
This can be done for performing Terro star alpha strikes and as a late game cushion.

I read Link once more and found
6. production cap for free production
Starts with 3 time PQ for free production
Again the question: does it count separately for social and military? e.g. you spend 70% mil. and 30% soc. Does the cap affect both ore only mil. if mil. exceeds the border?

I believe they are counted seperately.

The draginol are another minor race. They are announced in a special event. After some month they take over your best star system.
They are very rich and powerfull. But when you have evacuated the population of your star system in time into transports, you can trade with them and get all the money they have at the point they occur. After that you can use your transports and invade the planet. Thus you have nearly no losses but get a lot of money.
