How do u use the Terror Star cannon?

I hav a terror star ready to blow up some star systems, but don't know how to activate the cannon. Can anybody help me?

are you next to the system you want to blow up ???
if not you need to go there,, the Terror Star will only move one space at a time. make sure there is no ship in orbit around the system and with the Terror Star click on the system it will explode...
