What are your star naming conventions?

I name my systems after friends of mine - Sol is always renamend after my girlfriend (NO, not CariElf, my REAL girlfriend )
I always choose names that somehow make sense for me: For example, a system at the border to the Drengin Empire is named after a particular choleric friend, or three systems in one sector are named after three guys who share a flat.
Furthermore, I always change the spelling in a way that shows how many colonized planets the system contains, for example:
Jonathan -> 1 planet
Jon-Athan -> 2 planets
Jon-At'han -> 3 planets

I name only my most valuable systems, the systems that I must not give away, trade or lose under any circumstances. This is since I gifted the Alexians a star system and clicked on the wrong name. Goodbye to a system including a 26 point planet, goodbye manufacturing capital, goodbye economic capital, goodbye trade routes etc etc, never again.

Only one thing can force me to rename a system: my wife got bored watching me playing. Then I show her my best system and rename it in some way mocking her It usually gives me an hour or two..
