I would love to see a rare event which when happens completely decimates the population on a planet and makes it unlivable, an asteroid of course.any comments??

I think that would be pretty neat. Maybe also have some events where ships get completly destroyed every once in a while, or maybe hijacked, so you have to shell out a sum of money to rescue the ship.

You should pop on over to the GC MOD's Forum and download Bill Sheely's GalCiv Writer. It enables you to create events such as the one you mentioned in an intuitive and easily understood way..

There is an event where a minor civ will nuke one of your planets to level 10... Nasty...

havent gotten that one yet, ooh how about a tech that lets you build a PQ destroying ship that knocks down the pq of an enemy planet when it lands on it
