Sorry to clog the forum, but I have a few questions:
POLITICAL PARTIES
Okay, so I know some political parties has obvious functions: Mercantiles are for trade, War is for, well, war, and Technologists are for research. Beyond that, what kind of games are suited to the remaining political parties (I have the bonus pack so Industrialists and Universalists too) and what specific advantages do they have? It also seems as if some political parties are better (a bigger advantage) than others.
On a slightly unrelated note, what determines who gets votes in the Senate elections? I know the opposing party (who is the opposing party needs to be easily accessable from the game) gets votes if morale is low, but what, for example, would spur the election of the Industrialists if you're Mercantile?
PICKING ABILITIES
What is "creative"? What picks are steals? Which are overpriced?
COLONIZATION
Why do the Drengin always start out in a great location? How does the AI colonize so fast?
ALIGNMENT
Is playing neutral bad because you don't get any of the special alignment-technologies? Why do great events like earthworms require you to be evil to be competitive?
ECONOMY
How should I distribute my sliders?
ADDED:
When is the next patch expected?
