Has anyone noticed that when you pick an evil event you can drop 10% but a good events seems to only affet you about 1%. I even tried this in a game where I never picked evil events and it still seemed almost the same.

Each of the choices presented in events have weightages. The simple principle is that the greater the impact, the higher the weightage.

So choosing the PQ -35% choice in the worms event will likely improve your alignment by 10 pts. Choosing those that has no adverse impact on you (and there are lots of those good choices) will only increase your alignment by 1. The best way to improve alignment is to choose those good choices that trashes your PQ, production and morale.

Similarly for evil choices, accepting boosts to PQ, production, morale will crash your alignment rapidly.
