Stardock Corporation Launches New Web Site
Stardock Corporation, a Microsoft Gold Partner and the world's leading provider
of desktop customization software for Windows, re-launched itself into the marketplace
today with a new web site aimed at driving traffic, increasing sales of its popular
Windows software applications and further promoting its new interactive entertainment
publishing division. The new web site can be found at Link">
www.stardock.com.
"This new web design is an integral part of the overall goals driving Stardock in
today’s shifting marketplace," said Brad Wardell, CEO and President of Stardock
Corporation. "Our software consumer base has changed dramatically, demanding more
products that increase the functionality of the PC, not just the look of it. We
are now better prepared to meet the expectation and demand of our customers with
our new web site."
Leveraging a record-breaking 18 months of strong sales in both its application software
and video game products such as WindowBlinds
and Galactic Civilizations II, Stardock launches
a new look-and-feel complete with new logo into the marketplace just ahead of its
flagship 2007 product release, ObjectDesktop 2007. The company plans to promote
ObjectDesktop 2007 heavily to both the XP and coming Vista users.
"We’re not just a company that offers skinning programs any more," continued Wardell.
"We’ve streamlined our brand to be in prime shape for new markets and new products,
which include entirely new suites of products aimed at the Vista market. Our product
base has expanded carefully to meet growing demand for essential backup and archiving
programs, connectivity software and with the launch of Stardock Entertainment’s
publishing division, we’ve entered the distribution market for video games as well."
Recently Stardock announced its plans for the interactive entertainment distribution
market, which will focus on marketing and distribution of independently developed
games. In addition, the company also announced an upcoming expansion for the wildly
successful Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, which will be released
digitally this fall. Last Spring it launched its first backup and archiving program,
KeepSafe 1.0, into the marketplace receiving rave reviews from major PC consumer
media such as PC Magazine and PC World.
