Photon Mines, basically defensive low mobility anti-matter missles. These have been tested & are very fun. The mines come along at the same time as Dreadnoughts.

Sorry to disturb you,
but during our colonization of (planet name) we found on it's second moon an alien artifact.
It seems to be somekind of quantum reactor.
We suppose that this reactor could transfer anything to anyplace in the universe just in seconds.
We don't have any certain knowledge of this, but it has been used in alien ritualst.
In wrong hands this could mean a worldwide catastroph.
